This morning Ed Miliband launched Labour’s Manifesto which will see people in Lewes and Seahaven given a much needed boost under the next Labour Government.

Labour have committed to:

    • Reverse the Government’s final cut in corporation tax to pay for a reduction in rates for small businesses
    • Invest £2.5 Billion in the NHS, funded by a mansion tax on the very wealthiest of properties.
    • Cut tuition fees to £6,000 a year, funded by reducing tax relief on pensions for those earning over £150,000 a year.
    • Cap gas and electricity bills and force energy companies to pass along savings to customers.
    • Increase the minimum wage to at least £8 a year by 2020.
    • Provide up to 25 hours of childcare for working parents with 3 and 4 year olds.

Labour’s secret weapon in this election is you. Members of the public contributing their time and money are having a big impact.
